A few snatched shots in the garden at lunchtime when I came home to feed the dog and the birds and say hello to The Abbot - plus a Greenfinch feeding this evening!

I took my cameras to a BBQ on Saturday, having been told that they had a big garden with lots of wildlife... I saw lots of Butterflies, Swallows, Swifts, Buzzard and Gulls, but I did not get any decent shots, despite the fact that they do have a lovely garden and plenty of wildlife if you take the time to look and listen! This one was taken on the way home leaning out of the car window!

With reference to my last post, I saw a lone Swift circling above the house when I came home from work (late) this evening - put a smile on my face :-)

Some moth images, which I have collected at home. I think they are: i) Buff Arches; ii) Magpie; iii) Brown House Moth.

For the second day now I have not seen or heard any Swifts above the garden and I noticed they were more active and noisy than usual (if that's possible!) a few days ago. Sadly, I suspect they have moved on for their long journey :-(

Walkies...

Last night we took Hesper for a long walk and the Abbot kindly offered to take the lead due to the fact that I cannot hold her with my hands as they are at the moment - I struggle to hold the camera, but that doesn't pull, especially when it sees another dog! I managed to get a few shots again!. Thanks Trevor. Hesper appreciated it too. When my hands are better we start the "dog training". I have purchased a Halti!!!

Hesper - my baby :-)

Back to birds and nature...

This evening we went to Par - The Little Egret had returned!
We had a walk along the beach and then headed off to Menabilly...

"A LITTLE BIT OF BREAD AND NO CHEESE" ...
"ON THE ROAD TO MENABILLY" ...
A patch tick for the Abbot too!
