  4. Hi all, I was sent the link for this blog... the Muscovey is called Bertrude (strange name I know, he was called Gertrude until we realised he was a male). He used to live with us until Fanny, his mate, had a clutch of 19 eggs, 15 hatched and I don't think he could stand the competition so he flew the nest!!!! Lovely to see him at the duck pond, we now take the dogs regularly just to keep in touch. If you call his name he will look and gesture.
