Hi Angie, I so enjoy your bird photos even when I don't leave comments. MY birding is confined to NA, so your birds are all unfamiliar. But many are related, which I can see if I look carefully. The blackbird has a profile, build, and peak like the AM Robin, and even eats the berries. The Am Robin is not a seed feeder bird, but picks at the crabapples, fallen apples, and whatever other berries it can find. Your wren and our winter wren are the same species, the only wren that is found in Eurasia. And looking at the Marsh Tit, the similarity with the chickadees is clear, though the Marsh Tit has a significantly larger beak. Anyway, I am learning about my birds by looking at your birds - both their ID and the evolution. Thanks
Berry and consequently bird haven! Beautiful pictures Angie

ReplyDeleteLovely shots.
John.
That bird is getting its fill. Lovely pictures.
ReplyDeleteThank you Chris, John and Bill. They need places like that during the winter. I imagine she cleared it of Berries before the day was out!
