I think I'm getting my MOJO back!

Thanks to Trevor’s persistence I went out today for the first time in weeks. Only a short visit to Porthpean to look for a Great Northern Diver (a life tick for me) and a short visit to Par, but I think it rekindled my passion! By the time we finished Trevor was nagging to go home! My hands held out so hopefully the treatment is helping. I did get my life tick too as I found a Great Northern Diver very close in at Porthpean within a couple of minutes of arriving. It was a good session. Thanks Trev :-)

Cheeky Robin at Porthpean... The light was terrible and I think I may have sharpened this one too much!

Tufted Duck at Par Beach Pool...

  1. HI Angie,
Congrats on your life tick!! So how did you feel about the great northern diver. Isn't is a majestic bird... One of my favorite for sure!
I love the robin shot and did not find it too sharpened, and I love the colors too!
The tufted duck is very nice too... Only the one in Reykjavik ponds are staying around now, only because they are fed by people!!

  3. Two great shots sweetheart. The Tufted Duck is particularly good considering the poor light and the distance. You should be well pleased with that. Next the BT Diver.

  4. Well done, I wondered where you had gone. We all get a bit jaded this time of year especially with the weather.

  14. It is very difficult to keep the spirits up at this time of year Angie, I suspect a lot of us lovers of nature have the same trouble...oh for the light!

I hear there is a GND at Draycote but it is not so easy to get there now the days are so short, I would love to see it though.

Both of your photos are beautiful :)
