  1. Hi Angie,
You were at the right time at the right moment for the dunnock!!! This is a gorgeous picture!!! The picture of the swan is also beautiful. Are they ready to breed already!

  2. Thank you Chris, and yes, I think we can safely say they are ready! I love watching the GC Grebes especially. They are fabulous.

  3. Just caught up with your recent posts. Avocets, Black Redstart and the superb singing Dunnock.
    Excellent Angie.

  4. Yes Angie Spring is definitely upon us. This week at Stithians I had the pleasure of experiencing what seemed like the very first spring day. I walked around in an euphoric state listening to the spectacular soundscape - the bird symphonies have begun! The Chaffinches were skillfully singing their colourful heads off, Robins singing more confidently bonding with their partners and in the background Canada Geese were hissing along with the GS Woodpecker drumming! I drove back to Penzance feeing happy and energized, yes Spring is in the air.

  5. I thought it was in the air but then it snowed here all day yesterday and more is forecast for early next week :(

Lovely photos Angie, that sweet little Dunnock definitely looks pleased with its lot.

  7. Thank you Frank, Mike, Bob, SSB. It snowed here too SSB, but luckily not too much.

Mike, I would know those were your words if you were to leave no clue that it was you that wrote them. You sum it up perfectly, as always. I know just what you mean :-)
