Yes, they are attractive and unlike most birds they don't mind posing for a photo :) Lovely shots here Angie and also of the Hooded Merganser on the previous post.
Re your answer to my comment about Blackcaps, strangely, this is the first year that I have seen far more of the male than the female, other years the female was much bolder.
